A few years ago, we made a huge leap of faith as a family. My husband and I started a trucking company, and we wanted to continue traveling while still giving our daughter the education she deserved. 🚚💨 That’s when homeschooling became the perfect solution for us. I even started documenting our journey with the phrase “He drives. I teach. She learns.” I then changed my IG name to "@trucknthrulife". Both were a simple motto, but it reflected everything we were working toward—freedom to travel, the ability to earn, and giving our kids a solid foundation for life.
Fast forward to now, and homeschooling has become so much more than just a way to make our lifestyle work. 🤞🏾 It’s been an incredible blessing for our family. We’ve bonded in ways we never imagined, and the flexibility has given us opportunities to grow together and experience life in real and meaningful ways. 😭
None of this would’ve been possible without the support of my husband and without the freedom digital marketing has given me. ❌ Sis, I've done it all, but transitioning into the digital space allowed me to increase my income and create resources for other Black mamas like me—mamas who want to homeschool, who want to earn online, and who want to reclaim their time. 💰 Whether it’s creating curriculum, selling digital products, or teaching others how to secure the bag, everything I do connects back to the life homeschooling has allowed us to build.
This blog is all about sharing that freedom and empowerment with you. I’ll be dropping tips, resources, and real-life lessons to help you homeschool your babies, build your business, and create the life you’ve been dreaming of.
